New data protection regulations, called the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), came into force on 25 May 2018.
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)regulations give individuals more control over how organisations use their personal data including, the right to be informed about how organisations use their data, rights to request access to their personal data, rights amend incorrect data, rights to restrict what data can be used for, the right to have their data deleted, the right to object and the right to data portability. The changes are intended to make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information.
At Home-Start Shropshire we collect data on our families, volunteers, trustees and supporters for registration purposes and for communication purposes – we do not share this information with anyone else without your consent.
